Mel + Gabe | Townsville Destination Wedding

Melissa + Gabrielle, like a lot of couples planning a wedding in a global pandemic, had their fair share of rescheduling. Especially heart-wrenching was when the Queensland Premier locked down Brisbane on the day of their wedding. That’s right, the DAY OF. So having Brisbane locked down every time they wished to get married and all of their family constantly flying in from Townsville, they decided to change it up and bring the celebrations to them.

That meant I was extremely lucky enough to be invited to fly to Townsville and photograph their big day! Going from Sunshine Coast’s beautiful 26 degrees to a hot and dry 34 degrees was certainly a shock, however that didn’t stop the whole trip from being AWESOME!
